One of my most exciting and challenging projects in a long time: together with headwriter Lidia Fraga from Spain and Raoul Groothuizen from the Netherlands, I am writer on the historical murder mystery series THE LAST LINE. It follows a military doctor and a faithless nun who are hunting a serial killer within the British Army, as they flee through Galicia from Napoleon’s Grande Armée. Thrilling, dark, mysterious, laced with black humour, complex and emotional – the 6-episode series is set against real historical events of the “March of Death” through the snow-covered hills to Coruna. In record time, our writers’ room has created a pitch deck, a series bible, a teaser trailer, and a pilot script. We are currently in talks with potential international producers, broadcasters, distibutors, and streamers about a European co-production. The received feedback so far gives us hope that the series will enter development in 2026.
