On behalf of Beta Film, I am translating episode scripts of the serial thriller PAGAN PEAK, which is currently being shot by Wiedemann&Berg for SKY in Germany and Austria. The teleplays by Cyrill Boss and Philipp Stennert are based on the Nordic Noir series THE BRIDGE.
At the 3rd Munich SERIESCAMP FESTIVAL, I moderated the panel discussion about international series remakes.
My esteemed interview partners; the Israeli TV producer Ram Landes (“Your Honor”), the US-German producer and distributor Al Monteanu (SquareOne Entertainment), and the English producer Polly Leys (“The Full Monty”, “Loaded”):
participated in an extremely stimulating discussion which was very well received by the audience.
Since 10.10.2017 I have been represented by the agency, Neue Pegasus. The experienced agent, publisher and copyright lawyer, Steffen Weihe, will take over the negotiations on the script from now on.
On 8 September, I held the self-devised workshop “Making Your Film” for international filmemachers at the KINO KABARET MUNICH. Within this lecture, I tought the basics of all aspects of filmmaking – as well as the intricacies of screenwriting and dramatugy on the participants’ own projects. A rewarding experience for teacher and students alike.
On 1st June 2017, I joined the German Screenwriters Guild VERBAND DEUTSCHER DREHBUCHAUTOREN (VDD).
